what do i wear?

Something you feel CONFIDENT in!

Most students start in active wear with loose bottoms (to feel the JIGGLE) or pajama shorts. Booty shorts and freeing the cheeks is encouraged but we understand this isn’t for everyone. Sneakers are the most appropriate footwear for Twerk classes and heels for Sexy Floor Twerk. Knee pads are essential for knee protection (volleyball or pole dancing knee pads are suitable.)

Our Twerk classes are designed for every type of booty. Our instructors will be able to tell you which Twerk moves are more suited to you booty type and give you tips and tricks to maximize your jiggle!

WHY 8 WEEK COURSES?

Perth Twerk prioritizes community and safety.

We understand new students can feel vulnerable coming to their first course. For most of us it’s a BIG thing to overcome these vulnerabilities whether you’re battling with body confidence, self love, shame etc.

Creating a familiar space with familiar friendly faces helps us create a SAFE environment for you to explore the parts of yourself you hide from the rest of the world. It also helps create incredible friendships with your classmates as you’re going through these changes together.

What we usually find is courses create a better paced syllabus for beginners and people feel more accomplished and capable when finishing the course. It also allows our instructors to teach Twerk in a manner in which we feel you’re performing the moves safely within the choreography.

DO YOU DO CASUAL CLASSES?

We don’t offer casual classes.

We do have TWERK TEASER’s. These are beginners workshops for those who want to learn some basics but can’t make a twerk course.
